In Resistance 2, Warner is a member of The Sentinels, and more specifically Echo Team. He is an integral part of the team, but he also longs for his family. During his time with SRPA he made attempts to contact them and was given numerous warnings before he escaped from SRPA in an attempt to be reunited with them. However, before he was able to, he was later caught and arrested.

During the story, Echo Team return to Twin Falls in Idaho, Warner's home town. Fearing the worst, Warner heads straight for his family home, but finds nothing but Grims. He also searches a nearby Bomb Shelter which he helped to construct, but again he doesn't find his family. Hale tries to offer him assurance by stating that they were probably safely evacuated to Baton Rouge.

When Echo Team head back to Iceland in order to pursue Daedalus, Warner is the member of the team that initially locates Daedalus inside the Holar Tower. However, as Hale arrives to offer support, Daedalus kills Warner with his tentacles.
