Captain Mitchells is one of Captain Parker's trusted comrades. Mitchells led a company to aid and retrieve the convoy that was lost on the West side of Manchester. However, they were pinned down in Manchester as they attempted to break through to the convoy. He eventually made it to the site, and with Nathan Hale they held off a Chimeran forces and retrieved the container from the convoy, which is subsequently taken to Northern Command.

Later he heads out to Nottingham, where he helps take out a Chimeran tunnel system. Alongside Lieutenant Cartwright they are successful, and head to Southern Command. During the attack on Southern Command he helps to protect the Northern Entrance. In the final scene in Bristol, Cartwright helps Mitchells to his feet, and he is seen to be limping. His ventures from this point are unknown.
