Captain Winters is a soldier sent in by the United States of America to York, to take part in Operation Deliverence. Winters was put in command of Baker Company and led his remaining forces to a bus depot in York in an attempt to secure a landing zone.

Along with Nathan Hale they manage to hold off the Chimeran forces, which included a Stalker. However, the Chimera decide to use Spires and soon Crawlers flood the area. Winters is more than likely consumed by the Crawlers and taken to a Conversion Centre.
