A medic in the British army, he produced a crucial report on the 23rd of March, 1950. His findings revealed detailed information about how the Chimera regenerate their bodies. What he discovered was a technology know as Sym-Bac, a form of synthetic bacteria that allowed the Chimera to regenerate at a much faster rate than normal humans.
This appeared in the form of a yellow liquid contained within canisters. After his infection, Nathan Hale, was able to pick up and use the canisters to heal himself. Unfortunately for Ian Coxen, after holding up inside Manchester Catherdral where he attempted to treat survivors, he was brutally killed by a Howler along with two other soldiers.
