Main Character

Major Blake is the commander of the Special Research Projects Administration (SRPA). He is involved instantly within the story of Resistance 2, as he is the person that orders the retrieval of Nathan Hale. However, before he can properly introduce Hale to the SRPA programme, they are attacked and forced to fight their way through the base in Iceland. During this mission, Blake unintentionally allows Daedalus to escape and is also forced to order the evacuation of the Iceland base.
Two years later, Blake is again involved as he is inside the base in San Francisco that gets attacked by the Kraken. After ordering Hale to get out of the control station, the doors are closed and the Kraken breaks in. Blake manages to surive though and next surfaces during the mission to plant the fission bomb on the Chimeran mother ship.
Defiant Until The End
Blake takes it upon himself to make sure the bomb is planted in the correct position on board the Chimeran vessel. However, as he is making his way towards the engine room, he and his unit of Black Ops are overwhelmed by Chimeran forces.
Hale and Capelli can't get there in time, and when they arrive the Chimera have seized control of the device and Major Blake has been killed.
