Saunders is mentioned in an intel document found in the level 'Path of Least Resistance' during the Manchester section of the game. The reference to Saunders is very minimal and mentions the fact that Saunders saw a Howler. He was heard to describe it as being as big as a horse and bulletproof, however, he survived the encounter as he found an old shotgun.
