Due to their weaponry, Hardfangs are limited in their attack options. However, this can make them exceedingly annoying foes as it means that there is little time to think. When they are attacking in combination with other enemies, Hardfangs should always be a priority due to their intent on rushing so that they can get into range in order to attack.
They use the Arc Charger as their weapon of choice and if they are allowed to get into range, they can cause some serious damage, especially if they're in groups. Don't be surprised if you're wiped out within a matter of seconds if you under-estimate Hardfangs, especially on the harder difficulty settings.
It's for this reason that the L23 Fareye is our recommended weapon for dealing with Hardfangs. A quick headshot prevents them from causing any trouble and with the slow-down time secondary fire, there is no excuse for allowing Hardfangs the time to get close enough to do damage...unless they happen to start in-range.
