The Howler is given its name presumably because it resembles a dog and behaves much like one. They walk around on all fours and are very quick on the ground and should certainly not be treated lightly for they can cause considerable damage if not dealt with.

The Howler has two main attacks. The first constitutes ramming their foe, which can easily knock a few health bars off. The second is where the Howler jumps on top of their foe and proceeds to maul them to death. This can lead to a very quick death if they are not shaken off quickly enough, so make sure you're ready.

In order to take Howlers down quickly the Bullseye should be used to full effect. Tag the Howler and spray them full of bullets while attempting to dodge them while they launch themselves at you.
