The Chimeran Scout

The Patrol Drone is, as the name suggests, purely for patrol duties. Their light armour and nimble speed make them excellent scouts. They tend to swarm their enemies in rather large numbers and have energy weapons similar to that discharged by the Bullseye.

Patrol Drones are very insignificant on their own and can be taken out more than adequatly with conventional weaponary such as the M5A2 Carbine or the Bullseye. However, as mentioned previously, certain sections bring drones en masse to the player as soon as they are detected.

The L210 LAARK has a very prominent application when dealing with Patrol Drones, as its secondary fire creates a swarm of missiles. These will then home in on the multiple drones and eradicate them with ease.
