Modified Chimeran Technology
The Auger WS is a human modified over the Chimeran Auger Rifle. It has been tailored to suit a human user, and because of this its weight has been seriously decreased. The Auger WS's main strength comes from its ability to fire through solid matter. When hiding behind cover, or obscured by a piece of scenery, the Auger highlights potential targets in yellow. This allows for users to target foes effectively and with a high level of accuracy.
The secondary fire of the Auger is very similar to that of the Auger Mk II, which is seen in Resistance 2. It provides a semi-circular shield that remains stationary at the point it was deployed. This shield provides cover from all of the weapons which the Chimera use.
