The L11-2 Dragon is a human weapon which is effectively a flamethrower and it is extremely effective against the Chimera as it heavily exploits their weakness, which is heat.

There are two different types of fire that the Dragon is capable of, and they're a stream of fire, and the Vapour Cloud. The stream of fire can be good for pinning down enemies and taking out lots of groups all in one go. It can also be good for short sharp bursts, which can conserve ammunution, since the weapon fires exceedingly quickly. The Vapour Cloud is a charge attack, but it doesn't have to be. You can use up to 45 cells from the ammo pack, which creates a huge cloud of fire that settles on whichever surface it lands. It also has an extreme range and if enemies run into it, and if weaker enemies walk into it, they'll most certainly be burnt to a cinder.

Obtained: The L11-2 Dragon is acquired during the second playthrough in Bristol - "Devil at the Door". Shortly after the first checkpoint is reached, take the left-hand path and the Dragon is inside a small chamber.

Tip: Since the Chimera are very weak to fire, using the primary fire is an effective way to wipe them out at short range.

L11-2 Dragon Online

The L11-2 Dragon is fire based weapon which mirrors its offline counterpart exactly, other than a slightly lower amount of ammunition. It has varying levels of effectiveness as it depends who the weapon is used against.

The Vapour Cloud can instantly kill any opponent that touches the fire generated when at full capacity and its long range also makes it a good weapon for surprise attacks. The Vapour Cloud can also be used as a trap based weapon for this reason.

Tip: Chimera are extremely weak against the L11-2 Dragon, but this isn't the same for Humans, so make sure you only use the Dragon's primary fire when you're against the Chimera, not Humans.
