The Pulse Cannon is an extremely powerful weapon as it was initially designed to split rocks using ion energy. However, the developer made a miscalculation and an awesome power was produced from the device. Following this accident, it was repurposed by the military and is now used to fight off the most deadly of Chimeran enemies.

The primary fire of the Pulse Cannon sends a huge beam of energy towards its designated target and upon impact causes nothing but devastation, especially against smaller foes. The secondary fire is much more useful at close range, as it's a concussion blast. This literally rips enemies within range to shreds, but it's quite difficult to get close enough to make it all that effective.

Due to its immense stopping power, the Pulse Cannon has both limited ammo throughout the game and has a very slow rate of fire. It usually only appears when large enemies are approaching, but it can sometimes be used afterwards for a bit of fun with the Chimera.

Using The Pulse Cannon Online

Cooperative: The Pulse Cannon can only be used by the Spec Ops class, and they unlock it at level 12. It isn't a secondary weapon though, like the LAARK as it takes shape as a Berserk called Snake Eyes. This essentially means the Spec Ops has three weapons, and this Berserk should be equipped at all times.

Competitive: As with the cooperative way of using this weapon, it also appears in competitive play as a Berserk called Snake Eyes. This can be unlocked at the same time as the L210 LAARK, but it can only be used by Chimera.
