Originally found in a Chimeran Conversion Centre in Shanghai, China, the XR-42 Phoenix is an incredibly vital piece of equipment for all SRPA operatives as it provides a very unique role. Its beam steals the life-force from all non-human opponents and then can convert this energy into a healing blast which can restore human tissue.

The primary fire allows for the user of the weapon to syphon energy from their foes by dealing damage. This both heals themselves and creates healing blasts which can heal their allies. The beam fired can also chain between enemies if they're standing nearby. The secondary fire is the healing blast, which is a ball of energy that can heal all allies within its blast radius.

This weapon can only be used in the Cooperative mode of play and it is exclusive to the Medic class.
